Did anyone notice during the San Remo WRC rally that the drivers had to stop at a toll booth and give the cashier like 50 cents. It was funny.

It was funny. thats normal. in the australian rally, some drivers are caught speeding by the police while driving to their respective service point. in their WRC cars mind you.

That's ludicrous.

Did you guys see the highlights of that Aussie rally where one of the Focuses (Delecour, I think) drove on the road with only three wheels, and sparks flying everywhere? That was cool :)

Nothing beats WRC for sheer entertainment value.

The closeups on the Nascar crowd can be quite amusing as well.

Watching NASCAR in person can be pretty fun, but on TV it is beyond boring.

Yeah, the engines probably sound beastly. Well, I have driven a 900 hp Indy car, so I'm used to those sounds. Big Timer here.

yeah. It's kinda funny how those rally drivers always try to get the car to the next stage, remember when burn had the left rear wheel sticking out, still they drive with balls. THAT'S incredible.

SCCA rally is also very awesome. The bigger teams (Subbie, Mitsu, Hyundai) are all factory backed . Rally is coming back to the U.S.!

Sometimes watching those car races on TV are kind of boring. But it's not too bad when they have the cameras looking right out the window as you see what the driver sees. :) Personally, I like to watch the 1/4 drag racers myself!
