I visit VWVortex a lot and this has to be one of the most retarded things to have happened in a long while. George Mantis, owner of a 2001 Golf GTi, took his car to Jim Ellis Motors Inc. to be serviced, and posted his negative experience on the VWVortex bulletin boards. In response, Jim Ellis Motors is suing him, hoping to seek a restraining order.
It's worth a read... all in all it'll let you know how lame some dealerships can be. It's pretty sad. :(

I can't find the newspaper artical? But from what it sounds like the dealership treated this guy like doggy poo from the get-go.

Ugh. Does anyone know the sales figures of this place? I mean, they must be pretty desperate. Too much of an overreaction IMHO. Twits.

Sweet mother of god... reading the long list of customer complaints, I don't see how they can expect to pull of the lawsuit successfully. They damaged their own reputation themselves. If they win, it will be utterly pathetic.

Ya thats our justice system for ya, they have a chance at winning,
isn't that free speech??

Well, for one thing, everything the guy said is apparently true. Just look at all the other people who had horrible experiences at the dealership. Therefore, it shouldn't be able to be considered as libel...

Good news. Probably due to the overwhelming feedback in support of Mr Mantis, Jim Ellis has decided to drop the lawsuit!!!
