I hear that the S2000 comes with a optional lifetime warranty. Is that true? That does not sound right at all..

But I wouldn't put anything past Honda.

This the first I've heard about it. There's nothing about it on the Honda website. :confused:

I highly doubt it. Think about, Honda has marked this car up so much (base tag), why would they give it a lifetime warranty?

As yet another concession to the mass market, Honda will begin offering an automatic transmissioned version of the S2000 soon. ZF of Germany (one of the transmission suppliers for BMW) will begin supplying a 6-speed automatic for the roadster.

Oh...sad days....

i think that this will be a pretty quick auto. and maybe itll lend the s2000 some torque
