The words "crack" and "dealer" come to mind, dunno what it could mean....:D

seriously though, wth is with everyone being so obsessed with Dinan's money? Like, its only natural to be a surprised when he has an 'above average' car collection, naturally assume he has a good bit of money, etc. But to actually care this much about his personal life.. damn. I wouldn't say anything if this was the only time I saw it, but it definetly isn't.

First, I don't want to say all the ways I make money, but none of them involve making drugs. Second, if I had to pay for my own place to live, food, etc., I wouldn't be getting anything. Third, I use to work at my friend's dad's place for about a year. Then my Mom got me a job at the company she works for, they paid me well and this summer I will be working 9-5, not exactly an easy summer job. Like I said, on my 540i, my parents paid for half, so I can't take full credit. Also, for the M3, my Dad has is paying for like 9 months of use, since I'll be away at college and he'll be driving it. Take a semester of a skill that can get you a good job and use it to get a good summer job, it's not that complicated.

Nah, I said those cars were in my garage, the 01' 540i isn't mine. I guess their in my parents garage, not mine..Bottom line, it's nothing too incredible.

Dude, when I got my MKIV… (96 Auto). I wasn’t even trying to get it. I was looking at Eclipse or 240SX or another car I won’t name :). However then my dad (Who is who he is) told me he would help. Long story, I got a Auto 96 MKIV. The idea was that I share it… Then my dad lost interest in the MKIV (I think, because I started to modify it, thus my car). Then, I didn’t like working with a Auto. So I looked into a tranny swap. It wasn’t looking good, so “My daddy brought me a” 93.5 Manual. He later sold the 96 MKIV to my tuner. My dad paid my insurance until I brought the car from him I paid for all my mods except my TRD exhaust birthday gift. What I fail to tell you is that I worked my ass off for that car I was driving (MKIII Turbo) and I had cash on nearly half of the 96 MKIV. What I also fail to mention is I sold the 93.5 MKIV at the same price my father brought it. I kept that car in shape and paid of its every bills.

If you think it was a walk in the park or as easy as Dinan has it (No disrespect) your wrong. I really hate it when people think my daddy brought my car. True I wouldn’t have had it if it hadn’t been for him, but I gave my share.

All of which is none of your business truthfully, but I had to let it out to clear up some misconceptions.

No disrepect taken, but...I hardly consider working a year at a butcher during the school year, 9-5 in a mailroom and am about to work 9-5 5 days a week at my mom's company just sitting on my ass and letting my parents pay. Sure, I also had a coupe eBay schemes here and there, but it wasn't all fun and games. Now, my parents pay for gas and insurance, but I consider it more being fortunate than spoiled. I consider being spoiled, a kid who does like shit in school, is a smartass, never works and has no plans a spoiled kid. I am doing well in school and will transfer to UCLA easily, but I'm trying for Stanford *crosses fingers*.

I didn't work as hard as Mecca who worked on a ****ing farm for a summer, but it wasn't all "mommy and daddy's" money. And IMO, the people who hate others because they were born rich are pathetic.

Mecca your pops sounds mad cool. You also said he's capable enough to break 13's in a stock MKIV? How good of a driver is he?

My Uncle introduced my dad to the car world. He passed away, but he was a Luxury car head. My dad was never a performance head until he ran low times in the MKIV. He has a Maxima he plans to modify well.

Anyway he is cool in that perspective, but my father and me don’t see eye to eye unless it is about cars. We will just say, I’ll treat my kids much better than my father for me. I love him though

I hope I didn't say he could break 13s in the stock MKIV. He might be able to pull a 13.1, which I could never do. I've seen it done more than once though. (My tuner has done it twice and so did his daughter and a guy I don't really know did it the fastest.

Only reason my dad can brag over me about the 13.2x (X=low) and I ran a 13.2(X=high, or at least higher than his). I was proud when I got that and my dad reminded me it wasn't as low as his, even though it is so minute..

He is good when he is thinking about it... Though he is dangerous on long drives. :)
