I am trying to get my '79 T/A rebuilt, however I have no emissions controls. Does anyone know where I can get a charcoal canister (evaporative canister)?

When I got the car all it had was some of the interior, most of the electrical lines, the power steering pump, and the fuel lines and tank. Since then I have put a 350 sb with a th350 behind it in and have been working on getting the engine to run correctly ever since I got it running. I will be moving to a state that requires smog checks and/or emissions controls and I would like to get all of it before I move if I can.

Check on Ebay or a local junkyaed. You need to check the local laws concerning emmisions. Most states you have to test emmisions on the newer part, car or engine. You may have more work to do if the engine is newer than the car.
