I recently purchased an 87 Camaro IROCZ28. it has a 350 with 305 perf heads on it, but the guy told me it needed new valve seals. so I just got done with that job and it still slightly smokes through the breather on the valve cover. any ideas. thanks a lot.

thats normal actually, a little smoke to be coming out of the breather hole is ok. Thats just the oil heating up, it tends to smoke when it does that, hence the PCV system.

now the kid i bought it from has a breather on both valve covers. it has a victor intake and 650 holley. any ideas on running the pcv system. kinda throwing me off because none of it is stock.

ok on the back of the carb there is a port sticking out around the baseplate, that is for the PCV hose to go into.

the other side( driver or passenger) can have a breather but i always kept my pcv on the passenger side, the valvecover with the closest hole to the carb.

Id get one on there quick, might even notice a bit of driving difference with it too.
Oh yeah, need one for emissions.
