hey guys, my truck is back from the shop with the 4/6 installed. it is sitting about an inch to a inch and a half higher in the front right now. the kit used was Mc Gaughy's or whatever it's called...i can never pronounce or spell it correctly. kit included 2" spindles, 2" coils and a flip kit for the rear. and new shocks on all 4 corners as well as a notch for clearance. I know i need to be patient and wait for the front to settle, but really i can't afford anymore drop in the front due to rubbing so i kinda hope it doesn't settle anymore. the problem is the rear is sitting a bit lower. since a flip kit was used, is it ok to use a 1" or maybe 2" lift shackle/hanger to bring the rear up to my desired ride height? i can't think of any other way to get the rear end up an inch or so....please help!! thanks in advance!

It will settle a little more, but don't expect it to settle too far. How much lower is the rear than the front? Can you post pictures?

yeah mike, i'll post pictures today. as you will see it sits about 1-2" higher in the front. but i know what you mean, i don't expect it to settle that much. which is good, because like i said, i already have a small rubbing problem on my front driver side that i'm going to have to address today. pictures will be up soon. thanks for the quick response.

also man. i am feeling vibration in the steering wheel under hard acceleration and regular acceleration at 15mph. Now this is hard for me because i've always done my own work, this is the first shop i've allowed to work on my truck. I know from my 3 s10's that steering wheel vibration is a sign of an alignment problem right? again the kit used was supossed to fix this problem via carrier bearing spacer. my installer said the pinion angle is good and to try and have the tires rotated. ok that's cool i'll do that, no biggie. but my drive-line was smooth as silk before the drop. have you ever heard of driveshafts needing to be shortened after a large drop on a full size chevy?

It doesn't look that bad...I'd wait a week or two and see how it settles, then possibly try your idea or whatever Revolution told you to do :)
