Ahh. Saleen stepped up to the plate to fill the void the Lightning left when FOrd discontinued it. They've been talking about a merger between SVT and Saleen. They practically are merged now. But in the future, SVT offerings will be built by Saleen.

Dude, that's less than an SRT-10 Ram. In fact, I think the SRT-10 quad cab with the automatic is priced at $52,000. From that perspective, this thing is a bargain.

I love that truck, but Saleen shit has always been wayyy overpriced IMO....

That's because they have to offer a warranty on their shit.

very nice 40k price tag seems reasonable to me

Well saleen is over priced when it comes to there new mustang which costs over 50k. But I think 40k for this truck sounds not to bad to me. But I would take a SRT-10 over it but its a nice replacement for lightning.

Umm. I'm pretty sure we can assume by those numbers that the engine IS on boost. That sounds like a 3-valve Triton V8 with a Saleen blower running about 8 lbs of boost to me. Crank it up to 15 lbs and you'd have something...

so for 12 grand less, you'd settle for a two door truck that i doubt will beat the 4 door SRT-10? lets hope it not an automatic like the lightening. Ford. yeah, well at least they circled the problem.

Yeah its auto. But it would probably barely beat the 4door SRT-10 but get blown away by the 2door SRT-10 RAm.

I'd have to disagree, this truck should be able to take the SRT-10 stock for stock.

And didn't you just post up the video for the SVT Cobra vs. the GT? I thought you liked fords seeing as your on the SVT forum lol.

ME? Anyway since this truck is heavier then the SRT-10 and has an auto transmission while the SRT-10 has 6speed manuel i think it would not compete but not that much slower.

I'll look and see if I can find stock 1/4 mile and 0-60 times for both and I guess we'll find out :)

LOL! Truck looks good. Not as pretty as my Ram, but it's sure as hell faster. Of course it's boosted...Ford trucks without S/C=Turds! Ford trucks with S/C=OWNAGE! I concur with Cyco...15 pound pulley and a good tune=Yum Yum eat'em up!

yea but take that extra 12k and mod the truck and the srt-10 4 or 2 door won't touch it...

yea but take that extra 12k and mod the truck and the srt-10 4 or 2 door won't touch it...I've seen '05 SRT-10's going for $35,000ish...Money isn't the point. Who is faster from the factory? That's what matters! And the SRT-10 is the fastest production truck EVER!...so far. :woot:

Got to love a viper powered truck. But they should try to get it under 5000pounds. And have seen videos of SRT-10 with just bolt-on's run a 12.5 in 1/4mile.

I paid $27,070 NEW for my 2003 RAM 1500 HEMI. I also just test drove a 2004 SRT-10 RAM that had a $36,500 sticker price on it with only 4K miles on it. So no, you're a little bit OFF there. But I agree that the Lincoln LT is a piece of junk.

Depends on what part of the country you're in, they are the price listed above in Vegas.

Lot's of cars have different prices throughout the United States, the other day Revolution was argueing with me that I could get a 06 C6 Vette in the 40's and i told him no way. Well low and behold out there, there are a few in the upper $40k price range, and out here they start at like $53-54 (what we paid for the CF-Vette)

That is a damn good price you got your truck for though.

That was the sticker price. There was 9 of them on the lot all with the same options, all sporting the same $27,070 price tag. I however get the employee discount because of my brother and they were running a $2000 rebate at the time so it actually came to something like $21,300 total. I rolled about $5K worth of negative equity into it and still walked out of there at below the sticker price, and at 0% for 5 years too!

I should of said it was for a used '05 SRT-10 with like 20,000ish miles...sorry. I got my used Ram for $17,500...with 25,000 miles. Not to shabby! :dunno:
