I have a buick GNX clone that i recently bought, and have gone through too much shit with to start over..

Motor started out fine, punched a hole though a piston, now its at the machine shop.. The motor started out .40 over, and was thinking of going to .60 over, but with 27lbs of boots, i dont think i want to chance ANOTHER motor, so we re-sleeved the block back to normal, and n ow i'm starting over agian.

Thinking about doing a comp roller cam in in as well as the champ heads but not sure how much cash i have on hand..

Thought I would share if anyone has opinions..

Can't wait to see this thing running again. I'd go with the safer setup and get the roller cam and champ heads.

Good luck! I'll be there to help/take pics when you guys drop it back in, just make sure you have beer on hand and I'm there lol :)

I am having the Machine shop assemble balence blueprint the entire motor for me, that way i have only 1 guy to ask if I have any questions instead of 5. different places..

Then when they are assembling the motor i'll take the trans over to len so he can work that out, then it should be all but complete..

ETA to running hopeuflly 1-2 months.
