Much better than the Hummer H2 and 10K less better Fuel Econonmy. Nicest small SUV out there.

I dont like the steering wheel...seems out of place, the roof seems...eh...impractical, but overall its still a great SUV! BTW I think you mean the Hummer H3, not the H2...H2 is HUGE and is 50K

yeah that 4.0 I-6 was bad ass! I have one and its not fast by any means, but it sounds great from 3,500 to around 5,000 rpm :D

The new roof is extremely functional. It's modular, therefore you don;t have to have it all down or all up. It's utter genius.

As for the old iron duke, I'm glad they finally replaced it. It has been around in one form or another for over 50 years. It was due. Besides the new engine makes more power and gets way better fuel economy.

But idk about the reliability of the new V6, I know you could have no problem getting over 200,000 miles on the I-6, I dont like the roof I like the old roof...more functional to me...where are you going to store the pieces to it? The old top you could just fold back, so im not too fond of this new top. Looks a tad ugly to me too.

Ahh - but your not looking at it the right way. First, the top stores inside the cabin when it's broken up, and secondly, this is a HARD TOP, not a soft top. The hard top kicks the soft tops ass, and in terms of comparing the old hard top to the new? This one is WAY WAY WAY more user friendly.

And the engine is hardly new. It's been used in the Minivans for YEARS. It'll be fine.

Im just a diehard fan of the old 4.0 I-6. And I LOVE the soft top, seeing as we have one. Its a 2000 Jeep Wrangler....its like a dark red. Very beautiful color. I will have to get some pics when I can find the USB cord for the camera! I never liked the hardtops anyway. I love the soft top, it doesnt take up any space, and It goes down with no problems, im sure its nice and everything, Im just a fan of the old soft-tops.

IDK about the feul exonomy part, yes it gets more horespower. I will have to see the fuel economy part. Depending if Im late for school or not I can get 17 mpg (REALLY LATE) or about 19-21 (normal)

Looks the same to me as the last 20 years, where's the chick or the hick driving it? I saw the other day a power folding top for it that looked pretty cool. Not my cup of tea by any means.
