Wonder if anyone has found a known issue with this.

Truck miss fires #6 cylinder. Brand new autolite plat. plugs, belden wires, cap and rotor.

codes in computer:
P0141 O2 heater b1s2
P0161 O2 heater b2s2
P0300 random misfire

FREEZE FRAME:
P0102 mass airflow
P0141 O2 heater b1s2
P0306 cyl. 6 misfire
P0161 O2 heater b2s2

I will be doing a motorvac and changing both rear O2s also. But I am not sure if that will solve the problem. Old plug looked like it was corrided badly from oil. Right now I am only getting 7 mpg. That is nowhere near where it was.
Any ideas?

Sounds to me like 2 things. Mass air flow sensor going bad.. and the injector spider. Good chance that the cylnder misfiring is the one with the bum injector.

I still have to look into the mass airflow. It might of just been unplugged or I forgot to clear the codes after switching to some different plugs.
Also I was thinking injector cause in the throttle bore you do not seen any signs of fuel leakage like you normally can when the spiders leak.
But yes possibly could be.

Ok, well I cleared memory, motorvac the truck and replaced the 2 rear O2s. It had normal gas mileage again.
Then after about a week or 2 check engine light started flashing again. Misfire #6 again and both front O2s are reading too rich. Scanner troubleshooter pointed towards bad regulator and/or injector. I replaced #6 injector and regulator. Cleared memory again.
It still is coming back. Have not been able to check the codes currently.
Any clues? Especially with the misfire. I was debating on getting the non fouler spark plug adapter for #6. The reason why is back in Sept. when the plugs got changed it was very badly corroded and when I changed it in December it was getting kinda bad. But recently it doesnt look all that bad.

computer issues possibly? I know these have issues with the computer under hood.

Well I replaced the 2 rear o2s. Then it still had the misfire in #6. Also it said the 2 front o2s were reading rich. Like an injector or regulator leaking. So I replaced the regulator and #6 injector. Cleared it. Well check engine light came back and said bank 1 sensor 1 reading too rich and #6 misfire. Also TPS voltage and mass air flow. I cleared it and ran 93 in it. Now it still has #6 misfire but also egr valve. Cleaned out passeges for egr and it seemed fine.

What else? I replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, injector, regulator, rear o2s, fuel filter recently since Dec.

The way the different things pop up wrong but go away I am wondering if I got a crap computer.

you should have truely replaced all 8 injectors they are flow matched and I really thought that setup came as a unit.. all 8 injectors... Unless your truck is something diffrent. The next thing I would check is compression you could have a hanging valve

The setup in this motor is tubes that have each injector in it. One per cylinder. None looked like they were leaking. I was thinking of replacing all but at $60 each cost ........ So I did replace #6 just incase it might of been an injector.
I think we did do a compression test. I dont remember what the results were.
