opinions?!

Not reeeeeally sure.. but I am sure someone will pop up with some knowledge.. I have only seen them get worked on body damage nothing mechanical

yeah ive seen some pretyt bad body damage but aparently if there looked after theyll go for miles...my "new" ones at 62K and i know people over 200K and still running strong...cant wait to get her home and take her for a ride, though it might be delayed since theres suposed to be 2 large snow storms comming in this week...
and im also currently trying to get price quotes on getting the power locks installed...might even go with keyless entry and if cheap enough remote start...(with the bad weather here itll be so much better than getting into a cold car and driving her all the way to school so cold...) and in the summer itll be nice to get into a pre cooled car lol (yeah im lazy! lol) but we'll see what the prices are like and go from there...already planning some small mods for her...

yep it was either the elantra or the ford, for price the elantra was better for the price, shes spotless owned by a detailer previously, only 62 K on the clock shes an 2000 auto gls 4 door, auto windows cruise and cd player. and the previous ownere installed cold air intake so...
aparently shell get somewhere between 25-27 mpg city and 30-35 highway which compard to my 11-15 on the old jeep is like WOW!, good amount of power too, shes not super car but for a 4 cyl shes got some spirit. great turning radius, though the steerings heavier than my jeep its nothing bad.
the dealers putting a new timing belt on (the one on there looked fairly new but theres no record of it being done so hes gonna do it nayway just to be safe, it had a new exhaust manifold in 03 (there was a recal so that was dealer replaced) hes putting new break pads, and giving her a full service, then will be delivering her probably weds if the weather stays ok.
course my only complaint is while theres power windows theres no power locking...i thought mabe it was central lock but no so im still goign to have to have the poser locks installed, and im gonna hook up my 6 cd changer just because, but other than that theres nothing that "needs" doing on her, im planning a few apearance mods just because i can and to make her more me, probably some interiour painting (just small areas) and some kind of seat coverings (i have 2 dogs light beige is NOT gonna work lol) but id liek somehting that is both pratical and looks good) she needs some deacent floor mats too shes got the stock carpet mats, so im gonna see what i can do about having a frined custom up some heavy duty rubber mats for her, and some kind of covering for the steering wheel (i hate the slip ons so ill see what i can do there too) oh and id like to add some limo tint (either black mirror or coloured) in the back. exteriour im planning on keeping her black but theres 2 gold pinstripes down either side so im gonna see if i can get them done red instead and possibly put a low profile spoiler on her.
