2001 pontiac grand am showing code p01404. need to know what the fix is.

Thats the EGR valve stuck open code. You probobly need to swap out the EGR not sure how many miles you have but they tend to go after alot of miles..

I think that's a Vaccum leak or Misfire code..

That could also be rooted though the EGR

I would do the EGR plugs wires and then while im in there check your vaccum lines that go to the fuel pressure regulator the brake booster and the throttle body.
There might be a minor leak that you might catch visually
