Does anyone know how to Change the Alaternator in the New VW Beetles we have a 99 and need to know how difficult this would be.

I haven't seen the new VW motor but it should be pretty straight forward if it is on top of the motor, just like any other vehicle. Unbolt anything around it that will be in the way, then just unbolt the 3 or 4 bolts that hold the alternator in and unclip it from the wiring harness. Replacing is just the same process in reverse. If you can, post a picture of your engine bay so we can see if there is anything particular you'd have to move.
