In the Mitsubishi forum a few days ago I posted aobut me getting a new car. The cars I was considering and asking about were the Lancer Evo and the SRT-4. I have now ruled out the SRT-4. But now I am being plagued by the question of "Would a Mustang GT be cool to have?" I like and appreciate almost all cars, I am not limited to strictly V8s or strictly tuneable 4 bangers. for those of you out there that are also impartial which one of these cars would you take? My ONLY problem with the mustang is that SOOOO many people have them. And the Evo...well good for passengers and all wheel drive is awesome. I'm not sure which one is better on insurance. That may end up deciding this for me. But just thought that I would try and get a little more input from you guys.

I'm old school. I like the big V8s over these new high powered 4 bangers. No reason that is fact based. Just getting old I guess.

Depends. If you plan to leave it stock ( as you have said you plan to do ) a newer GT wouldn't be a bad car to have. Ashley's mustang (02) was cramped in the backseat but had a good sized trunk, it was comfortable to ride in and wasn't too harsh of a ride.. go test drive the mustang you have in mind and make that desision for yourself dood. :cool:

I mean I could go on all day about Fbody's, Mustangs, GN's, what have you but the desision lies with you. My opinion ( and rather obvious bias ) shouldn't affect your desision.

Thanks agian guys. This is highly upsetting. They won't let me test drive the Mustang GT until I bring them a paystub from my new job. :mad: I guess I understand with me being so young though. Oh well, the time will come :)
