I have watched Smokey and the Bandit 1 and noticed that in a scene in the movie there was a Ford Pickup which said FOXHUNT on the box. I have asked around and some people have said that that was called a Ford Rainbow package, or the FOXHUNT package. I have always thought it was called the Rainbow package, but Im not sure of what years it was and if it was something that was availble back in the late 70's. I am guessing that it is probaly a special order option like the Ford Bigfoot conversion. Mabey someone could help me with some info on this Rainbow package.

I have no idea where to get that, but can you post a pic so we can see what you're talking about? Have you seen it at all online?

Rainbow package? Sounds like a Chev thing to me ;) hehe...

I haven't been able to find a pic on the internet, it has very little about it in the search engines.
