I've got a '98 Stratus (Ibought it brand new in Nov. '97) with the base 4-cyl/5-speed , 194k miles, on the original (yes, original) clutch, and except for the left front strut, original suspension. The engine is still strong enough to cruise at 75-80mph, the ride is still comfortable. The only major repair I had to do was head gasket replacement, along with the water pump. Tho' that was my own fault for not taking care of the water pump when it 1st started making 'gurgling' noises. That set me back $800. Who'da thunk a Dodge would go for this many miles??
