I got ripped off $1100 on a 1993 ford escort, sold to me with a bad transmission last year and now I'm looking to just get rid of it. If I put an add in the paper or something, what would be a good price for it?

Did you fix the transmission or are you going to sell it as is?

I think im just going to do it 'as-is' cause I dont know if it would be worth it to find a trany for it and find someone to put it in and having to worry about making the money back

hummm... how many miles? If the tranny went out, i'm guessing 120+?

If thats the case, then just put 500, somebody will strip it for parts, or fix it.
