The brake light was on it my car when I pulled out of the drive way this morning. Not the ABS light but the light that's says BRAKE lol. It stayed on when I was driving and I had to get gas really quick and then when I started driving again it was still on. The light turned off occasionally but was still on when I got to school. There is no funny noises and my parking brake wasn't on. I talked to 03flat4 at school and he said to check my brake fluid. Well I unscrewed the cap in the parking lot and uhhhh I can't see down into it LOL duh!! Okay and I can't tell how much is in there from the side. Well needless to say I was getting a lot of funny looks in the parking lot so I screwed the top back on and went to work. After that little incident the light hasn't come back on. Do you still think I may have a problem or is it okay now?! I do have to go to Subaru tomorrow to pick up a part and I'll have them look at my fluid when I am there but I was wondering if having the BRAKE light come on for a full 20 minutes and then not coming back on again is ummm....relatively okay??

This happens when the temp drops. Probably just need to top off the fluid.Hasn't done it in my WRX yet but my 97 Eclipse did this every winter.

It's happened to us once before. Just get some brake fluid to have in case it goes on again.

LOL But I live in Vegas and it was only like 50 degrees out. Is that cold enough? :dunno:

I told you already, just top the brake fluid off. The same thing was happening in my RX-7 and I topped the brake fluid off and everything was fine.

Well look at it this way, its normally like what 110 there so your 50 is like a midwest 20 so yes it is enough change to cause this to happen. get a small bottle of brake fluid and top it off. Afterwards either seal the fluid super tight or throw away since it will absorb water (read NOT GOOD!)

*UPDATE* I kinda forgot to post this but I topped my brake fluid off and the light turned off. It was only a smudge below the MAX line and it was coming on. Weird but I guess they are more sensitive than I thought.
