Perrin, a supplier of performance after market parts, is the first to stuff the Tribeca B9's H6 into the very worthy 2006 WRX. Although, this is no ordinary sawp, as Perrin have taken the standard 'station wagon' block and reworked it using American after market parts. Included is a huge Garret GT35R Turbo and custom Supertech pistons. The turbo and its associated hardware help to produce 500 rwhp and when considering driveline efficiency, this would give the engine over 600 bhp at the crank!

To match the ridiculous amount of horsepower, Perrin have outfitted their SEMA showcar with an adjustable and stiffer suspension as well as a new paint/wheel/tire treatment.

Perrin have been the first to do the H6 conversion and they won't be the last. By the time the 2006 SEMA show rolls around, there should be a few more of these exciting conversions.

very yummy. H6, gut out high compression non forged internals, add in lower compression stronger internals(perhaps AVCS heads too? I wasn't at the show), add big ass turbo, and that thing is a monster. Thank you subaru or the Tribeca(motor) :D

Here's a WRX swap for you guys!

Monster Rex (http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=380239&page=4&pp=20)

It's not something I would do (not with a WRX anyways...) but it will make getting assloads of horsepower a lot easier.
