Does anyone out there know if a 96 camaro's pins for the door hinge can be replaced? If so .. Where can I get some ? Hinges for that matter besides the dealer.

I'd stick with the dealer for parts like that.

They are pressed in. There is a brass bushing and a steel pin the one on the top drops down from the top and the bottom is hammered in from the bottom upward. Chances are you need to get pins and bushings. They will come out it takes patience and a small hammer and a drift pin or punch to send them out. I would recomend a floor jack with alot of towels to support the door while you do the pin change. Basically you slide out one and slide in the other. The brass bushings wear out and become egg shaped. Those should pop right out once you get the pins out. You can pick them up at any well stocked local auto parts store. Try a Napa or Depending on your area a Shamrock. Just go in and tell them what you have. They should be able to help you out. If you go to the dealer they are no more than 10 dollars for the pair.
Good luck!

If you have access to a motorcycle jack they also work well. When you go to do the pins make sure that the pins haven't been pinched on the tapered end to ensure they don't work out. You will have to gind them off also.
