My scort started acting funny a few weeks ago. it would turn over but not start. I played around with some connections while it was doing this and it turned over. I didn't pay much attention to it. one day on the way home it stalled at a stoplight and that was that. It hasn't started since. I can't seem to figure out what it could be. It turns over and cranks but just doesn't fire it seems. I can hear the starter just fine like it is going to start but never does. Any ideas as to what this could be or what I could check. I dont' want to start replacing things for no reason. Thanks

Hmmmm well if the starter seems fine (which you never really know) it could be a number of other things. Battery is good correct? Have you checked all your plugs and wires? Also check for loose ground connections at the frame and battery. You'd be suprised how some small things can have a big effect, like the car not wanting to start.

Do you have spark or fuel pressure?
